Where to begin... where to begin. Well, I went to Kurt's Thursday morning performance class. This is the first time I have attended a performance class. I have sang in auditions before but something about singing in front of my peers made me super nervous. As I stood up there and started singing my first few words all the of the negative thoughts from yesterdays practice session trickled in and suddenly I started to cry.. yep I was a pile of tears! (insert eye roll)..
So I came home tonight and practiced my song, ready to get up there tomorrow in performance class and give it a whirl.
This is what this is about for me, not the prizes, but getting out of my own way and allowing myself to become great at something.
